Move builds on Navro's existing MTL licences, giving businesses simplified payments access to one of America's largest state economies
London, 2 November 2026 – Navro, the London fintech that pioneered payments curation, has been granted a Money Transmitter Licence (MTL) by the Texas Department of Banking. This latest licence marks a significant step in Navro’s roll-out across North America with the company already holding a number of MTLs in states across the US, including in Delaware, Washington D.C. and Florida.
The licence will allow Navro to legally process payments and facilitate remittances for millions of Texas residents and businesses. Additionally, for business customers with complex needs, such as international payroll and money disbursement, they will have a compliant route into the state. Securing approval from the Texas Department of Banking further cements the company’s commitment to international growth and reinforces the gold-standard compliance embedded in the platform.
Navro's industry leading payments curation platform addresses the high costs and slow settlement times that businesses typically face when moving money in and out of the US via SWIFT. It offers access to a curated network of payment services through one platform, one API and one contract.
Through the course of 2026, Navro has gained significant traction in key vertical sectors, such as payroll and pension solutions. In recent months, Navro has onboarded clients including Multiplier, providing its global payments infrastructure in more than 160 countries, and Strada to advance its end-to-end global payroll offering with integrated payments.
Aran Brown, CEO at Navro, said: "Securing our Texas licence is another important milestone in Navro's US growth strategy. Texas is one of the largest economies in the country and a centre of commerce for fintech and digital assets organisations, so this gives our clients a compliant route into a market that matters enormously to their growth plans. With this licence, we can extend the benefits of Navro's payments curation platform, simplicity, speed and lower costs, to more businesses managing complex cross-border requirements."
Navro also holds a Foreign Money Services Business (FMSB) registration in Canada.
